Focus on Women — Poppy Creative

Focus on Women started in 2018 as a marketing idea for creating a safe space for women to network, talk rates, share stories, and connect with other female-identifying creatives.

For years, starting a networking-centric community had been on Traci’s mind, and with an upcoming gathering of the creative world, she decided to make it happen. She approached Juliette Wolf Robin, the national executive director at American Photographic Artists, Inc. and Mary Dail, the founder of Big Leo Productions, about joining forces and hosting a happy hour at the Photo Plus Convention and voila—Focus on Women was born.

With a comprehensive directory of female-identifying photographers, agents, stylists, creative directors, producers, and hair and makeup artists, Focus on Women provides these creatives with resources, education, networking and mentorship opportunities.
